TROOP PICNIC (October, 2005)
Troop 868 Home Page Troop 868 in Action
Troop 868's annual family picnic was once again held on the Davis Family farm in
Shelbyville. Assistant Scoutmaster (and Head Chef) Tommy Guelda barbequed
chicken and grilled hot dogs. Troop families brought an assortment of
covered dishes to round out the meal. Some played the traditional game of
football while others fished in the two stocked lakes or explored the
surrounding woods. Most of the moms simply sat in the shade and
socialized. It was a relaxing Sunday afternoon of fellowship and good
food. Those who didn't attend missed out on a fun time.
