This year marked Troop 868's second annual Pancake Breakfast. The event was once again a great success. Boy Scouts from Troop 868 and Cub Scouts from Pack 868 both sold tickets in advance. The morning of the breakfast, the Boy Scouts turned out early to setup tables at the Community Center and begin cooking bacon and sausage. The scouts were assisted by a small army of Troop parents.
As guests arrived, scouts greeted them at the door and escorted them to a table where other scouts, in the role of waiters, served them an all they cared to eat breakfast of pancakes, bacon, sausage with their choice of beverage -- orange juice, milk, coffee, tea, or hot cocoa.
