The Scoutmaster COPE Course

During the first two days of the course, the scoutmasters participated in a number of "problem solving" exercises designed to promote communication, cooperation, and team spirit.  Above, the leaders are crossing an imaginary swamp inhabited by hungry crockagators.

During the last two days of the week, the scoutmasters moved up in the world --- that would be "up" as in 35-45 feet above ground on the camp's high ropes course.  Safely secured by overhead ropes, the adults swung like Tarzan between utility poles on a foot swing, traversed a Burma bridge, walked across a suspended utility pole, and slid down a 500 foot zip line.
