BLASTIN'

STREET ROD SHOW
& CRUISING (August,
2009)
Troop 868 Home Page Troop 868 in Action
In conjunction with the
National Street Rod Association's annual convention in Louisville in early
August, the Bullitt County Chamber of Commerce hosted their second annual street
rod show and cruising event in downtown Shepherdsville. Buckman Street was
closed to traffic mid-afternoon so that several hundred street rods could park
diagonally on both sides of the street. Spectators were then able to walk
around and look at the cars for several hours before a formal cruising event
ended the evening.
Troop 868 was once again asked to set up and staff a First Aid / Lost Children
station on the front lawn of the Bullitt County Courthouse. Fortunately,
the event was safe and we only had to treat one "patient" for a minor
injury.

| Fortunately, business at the First Aid station was pretty slow. But Dylan was there and ready to respond, if needed. |
