LOOKING FOR A TROOP TO JOIN?

TROOP 868 WELCOMES NEW SCOUTS any time during the year.  Prospective members (and one or both parents) are invited to drop in at any weekly troop meeting to observe firsthand how our troop operates, meet our scoutmasters, and learn more about Boy Scouting.  There is absolutely no cost or obligation to visit any weekly troop meeting.

This web site contains a wealth of information about our troop, its history, leaders, policies, and (most important) the variety of different activities that we do month after month, year 'round.

It has been said that "a picture is worth a thousand words."  So you might want to checkout the Troop 868 in Action hyperlink that leads to stories and photos about troop outings and other events dating back several years.  The kinds of activities we've done in the past are a good indicator of the types of things we're likely to do in the future.

We also have a special page where several of our older scouts, in their own words, tell you about their scouting experience in Troop 868.  Click Here.

We invite you to come join our troop and "walk the Eagle Trail" with us.
